Cheree Dean is from Gamilaroi Country, located in Northern NSW . She is trained as a primary teacher and has been formally involved in Aboriginal Education for the last ten years. Cheree is currently lecturing in Aboriginal Education to pre-service teachers at Charles Sturt University – Wagga Wagga Campus. She is the NSW AECG Inc Association Management Committee Secretary and has held this voluntary position for the past four years. The NSW AECG Inc provides consultation to education bodies across NSW and is an organisation that is largely structured around local AECG bodies.
