Bio
Christine Edwards-Groves is a lecturer (literacy) in the School of Education . Christine’s main research interest is in the field of explicit teaching, professional development and classroom interaction. She has published a variety of texts, including On Task: Focused Literacy Learning (2003), Connecting Students to Learning through Explicit Teaching (2001) and Building an Inclusive Classroom through Explicit Pedagogy (2003). Christine is co-author of Chapter 5 ‘Developing Praxis and reflective practice in pre-service teacher education’ and author of Chapter 7 ‘The praxis-oriented self’.
