Letitia’s background encompasses a variety a roles in the primary teaching profession. She was initially employed as a classroom teacher in the public education system, before undertaking executive and principal positions in both large and small schools throughout the Riverina.
Since 2003, Letitia has been employed by the School of Education , Charles Sturt University to lecture primarily in the area of Professional Experience, with a secondary teaching role in Creative Arts and HSIE curriculum areas.
In 2008 Letitia commenced her new position as Director of Professional Experience (Primary and Secondary programs).
Research
Professional experience with particular foci on:
- Pre-service teacher and internship experiences of placement
- The role of secondees in academia
- The role of planning in effective communication
