Paul Grover is Lecturer in Education, Charles Sturt University. He has held the position of Pathways Program Coordinator, and is currently Course Director for the Bachelor of Educational Studies. He is a member of the School of Education Teaching and Learning Committee. Prior to entering tertiary education, Paul worked as a secondary English and History teacher and Head Teacher for 35 years. Paul has also worked with the NSW Board of Studies for more than 15 years as a syllabus committee member, HSC examination Supervisor of Marking and Coordinating Supervisor of Marking and HSC English examination Assessor. Paul has written and edited an extensive range of secondary school English and History course books and resource books for students and teachers for the past 25 years. Paul has presented workshops and seminars at regional, state and national conferences on literacy teaching in the 21st century, Indigenous education resources and the role of the Head Teacher in secondary schools. He has worked with local Indigenous community groups and the DEC to produce digital resources in Indigenous education initiatives, and has served in professional consultancy and education liaison roles across a range of community and education organisations. Paul has been awarded the NSW Professional Teachers' Council Award for Outstanding Professional Service, the DEC Riverina Teaching Excellence Award and Charles Sturt University Faculty of Education Award for Academic Excellence.

Conducting research in areas of Indigenous education, developing projects to enhance Indigenous student engagement with senior high school and university, and developing links between the education profession, schools and university.
