Bio
Prior to working at Charles Sturt University I was a primary school teacher and I have taught in predominately rural schools for the past 20+ years. I have extensive classroom experience having worked with each grade and in many multi-class situations. I have worked as a classroom teacher, computer coordinator, advanced skills teacher, assistant principal and for the last four years a teaching principal.
Having trained as a reading recovery teacher I am particularly interested in literacy and acquisition of skills. I have a keen interest in Aboriginal Education and have been principal representative for the ‘Dare to Lead’ program for our region. I have recently completed my Master of Education and worked independently in two areas: Cosseted Kids and Mean Girls.
