VET courses at Charles Sturt University are different from those in most other universities in Australia.
For all these reasons the courses are taken by a very diverse range of students both from within Australia and from overseas.
All of our students have one thing in common, the desire for a program which provides material which will help them in their current workplace, or some future position, and will equip them with the expertise they require to be effective practitioners in a changing field.
A significant proportion of students have selected a CSU VET course because they value the flexibility associated with distance education and the level support given by CSU for this kind of learning. In short, CSU VET courses are taken by a complete cross section of those involved in the sector.
