Admission for the fall 2009 intake will open in January, with the final submission date for applications on Friday, April 24th, 2009.
Instructions on how to apply will be posted on this website. You will be required to submit an online application as well as a print copy with additional requirements, such as academic transcripts, summary of your experiences working with children, references, etc. There will be specific instructions regarding these additional requirements.
An interview is a compulsory component of the application process. Applicants who are selected for interview will be notified by May 7th, and interviews will be held the following week.
Those who are successful in receiving an offer for the program will be notified the week of May 25th.
Applicants for the Bachelor of Primary Education Studies must hold a Bachelor's degree. Selection is based on the following:
On the above basis, a shortlist of the top applicants will be selected. These applicants will then be interviewed by a team consisting of CSU faculty and local administrators and educators to determine the final group of students to be accepted into the program.
If you completed your studies outside of Canada you will need to provide evidence of your English Language Proficiency.
Students accepted into the program will be required to have a laptop computer with a wireless Internet connection. (Laptop Specifications) [.doc]
NOTE: these two requirements are not necessary for your application, but will need to be provided if you are selected for the program.
