Bio
Leanne is a Lecturer at the School of Education, Ontario Campus. She has been a Mathematics Facilitator with the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board for the past three years. In her role as a Mathematics Facilitator, Leanne supported teachers from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8 in implementing the revised Ontario Mathematics Curriculum, as well as supporting teachers in sourcing, developing and implementing change in the mathematics classroom. She has supported the board in training staff in the areas of PRIME, Problem Solving in the Classroom, EQAO, Differentiated Instruction and Communication. Leanne started her career in the area of Special Education and has taught Grade 1 to Grade 8 in all subject areas. Leanne has had the opportunity of working on several projects for the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board as well as the Ontario Ministry of Education.

The Bachelor of Primary Education Studies program is offered under the written consent of the Minister of Training, Colleges and Universities for the period from 24th December 2004 to 24th December 2009. The Bachelor of Early Childhood Studies, Master of International Education (School Leadership) and Master of Business Administration programs are offered under the written consent of the Minister of Training, Colleges and Universities for the period from 17th April 2009 to 17th April 2014. Prospective students are responsible for satisfying themselves that the programs and the degrees will be appropriate to their needs (e.g., acceptable to potential employers, professional licensing bodies or other educational institutions).
