The Centre for Information Studies is a University enterprise which aims to support and commission research, publication and continuing professional development in library and information science. The Centre's main business is publication, especially in the areas of library and information science, teacher librarianship and Australian literature for young people. Several of its textbooks are used in our courses in Library and Information Management and Teacher Librarianship and there are close links between the School and the Centre.
Promoting studies in teacher librarianship since 1992, the Centre for Studies in Teacher Librarianship (CSTL) provides professional development and consultancy, and facilitates research and scholarship in the field of teacher librarianship, both within Australia and internationally.
