In 1999, CSU's first Joint Award with an offshore University was launched at the University of Mauritius. This is a program of study which allows holders ot the University of Mauritius Diploma in Information and Library Studies to upgrade to joint award of the Charles Sturt Univeristy/University of Mauritius Bachelor of Arts (Library and Information Management).
