Bio
Philip Hider is Head of the School of Information Studies at Charles Sturt University. He holds a Master of Librarianship degree from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth, and a PhD from City University, London. Philip worked at the British Library from 1995-1997, and in Singapore from 1997-2003. He teaches and researches in the areas of information organization, retrieval and architecture. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals, an Associate Member of the Australian Library and Information Association, and a member of the Australian Committee on Cataloguing.
