Bio
Joy McGregor arrived in Australia in 2002, after beginning her academic career in 1993 at Texas Woman’s University in Denton, TX. She received her PhD from Florida State University in 1993. Prior to her study for her doctorate, she was a teacher and a teacher librarian in Edmonton, Alberta. She also worked periodically as a sessional lecturer at the University of Alberta.
