Beverley Moriarty
Originally from Western Australia I taught for 15 years in schools in Perth while continuing to study. I moved to Queensland in 1993, where I was sub-dean (and in similar positions) in the Faculty of Education on the Gladstone for 14 of the 15 years that I spent with CQU.
I moved to Dubbo to join the School of Teacher Education at CSU in 2008.
One of my passionate interests is music. I play the piano, organ and violin.
My most widely cited research relates to self-efficacy, learning environments and mathematics in pre-service teacher education (Mathematics for Initial Teacher Education Students – MITES).
I have been a member of the Australian Traveller Education Research Team (with P. A. Danaher and Geoff Danaher) since 1993.
