Research in the School of Teacher Education
The Faculty of Education and the School of Teacher Education has a strong reputation for research in the field of teacher education and professional learning, with a a strong track record of publications and grants in the field of teacher education. There are important collaborations between members of the Faculty and national and international colleagues working in the field of teacher education research. Likewise, there is considerable partnership research with teacher education stakeholders.
Another important research area is in Early Childhood Studies, where a vibrant group of senior researchers, mid and early career researchers, post doctoral fellows, PhD students and adjuncts share a common interest in the early years. Senior researchers from the School of Education are also members of the Investigating Quality in Early Childhood Education and Care (IQECEC) research group within the Institute for Professional Practice, Learning and Education (RIPPLE).
