Julie Martello is a lecturer in the School of Teacher Education at Charles Sturt University. She teaches and researches in the areas of literacy and drama in education. Subjects taught are part of the Bachelor of Education Courses (Early Childhood/Primary & Primary).

- 2000 Received CSU Small Grant, with Dr Myra Dunn, Ms Pauline Jones & Ms Laurel Lewis, ($6,540) for project “Student literacies in context: A study of the literacy development of first year teaching undergraduates”.
