Bio
I have taught extensively in schools in NSW with experience in small and large schools, in special education, consultancy in creative arts and in tertiary education here at CSU in Bathurst. I maintain strong contacts with children and schools through professional development activities and inservice networks in the area. I work also as a practising ceramic artist, having exhibited nationally and internationally for many years and undertaken residencies and given workshops internationally.
I am a passionate believer in the role of the creative arts in education through its development of the whole child, with their creativity, intellect, self esteem and understanding and appreciation of other cultures all being enhanced as a result. The arts are inclusive in their nature which encourages all children to participate with equality at their own level.
