• On 18-20th November the CSU Education conference (CSUED 08) will be held in Wagga.

The organising group is the Educational Initatives group led by the DVC (Academic) – including the two Institute Directors Professor Joy Higgs and Professor Mike Keppel, Professor Ben Bradley who is leading the CSU Degree Initiatives program and A/Professor Marian Tulloch, CELT Director. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase educational advances in fieldwork education and share in shaping the educational future of CSU.

PEN Aims:

• To promote and further develop the importance of the practicum component in the CSU academic program for the development of employable graduates
• To acknowledge the contribution made by practicum coordinators at Charles Sturt University to this program
• To create and foster alliances among practicum coordinators
• To discuss common issues and further develop best practice and procedures
• To share innovations, efficiencies and expectations across Faculties and with industry and community
• To build the capacity of the CSU professional experience through cross-disciplinary collaboration and research, internally and externally with industry, community and other providers.
