Eileen has worked as an EMT/Paramedic for over 15 years. She completed her basic emergency medical technician training in Dublin, Ireland, after graduating she moved to Boston to complete her paramedic studies with Northeastern University. She worked for American Medical Response in the Metro West area of Boston. While working as a paramedic Eileen completed her degree in Health Science through Northeastern University.
On returning to Ireland, Eileen worked in various different areas including residential care and the homeless sector. She worked and managed a phlebotomy department in a private hospital in Dublin, during this time she completed her certificate in phlebotomy, IV cannulation, mentorship and assessment certificates.
Eileen then returned to the pre-hospital environment and was employed as a paramedic for the National Ambulance Service of Ireland before moving to Australia in 2011. She is currently a nationally registered paramedic with the pre hospital emergency care council of Ireland.
