Phu My is in Ho Chi Minh City (Thành Pho Ho Chí Minh) in the south of Vietnam.
The city was known as Saigon prior to the reunification of North & South Vietnam in 1975.
The major geographical feature of the city is the Saigon River. Phu My Orphanage lies just to the north of this.
