Bev is a graduate of Melbourne University having obtained her Bachelor of Science (honours) majoring in pathology and biochemistry. She then spent 10 years working in Medical Research at the Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital researching the relationship between hypertension, catecholamine, aldosterone and dietary influence on renal function.
Since 1999 Bev has worked at CSU, School of Community Health as a laboratory technical officer, research assistant and casual academic in physiology, pathology, microbiology, anatomy, exercise physiology, neuroscience, pharmacology and fundamentals of leisure and health. Bev is an active member of the Opportunistic Diabetes Complications Screening Research with particular interest in 12 lead ECG and non-mydriatic retinal photography.
Bev is currently studying in the Bachelor of Nursing course at CSU.
