Megan Smith graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) from the University of Sydney. Since graduation she has worked as a physiotherapist primarily in the area of cardiopulmonary physiotherapy.
While working at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney, she participated in a work exchange program with Royal Brompton National Heart and Lung Hospital in London. Most recently she has been working with the Heart and Lung Transplant Unit in St Vincent's Hospital Sydney. During this time Megan also completed a Masters in Cardiopulmonary Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney.
Megan is the lecturer in cardiopulmonary physiotherapy and co-ordinates the clinical education program. She recently completed her PhD examining the impact of contextual factors on clinical decision making in cardiopulmonary physiotherapy.
