Innovations in Teaching
Interprofessional teaching is a key component of Judith’s teaching practice, and she works closely with physiotherapy and other allied health academics to draw as many links as possible between social science and health practice. She also teaches with a strong cultural focus, and strongly emphasises a holistic approach to practice that draws upon determinants of health as its foundation.

As a long term resident of rural communities Judith have seen the negative consequences of inadequate support for adolescents experiencing physical, developmental and/or mental health difficulties, particularly in situations of comorbidity; her research is focused on addressing these needs using a community based approach that links closely with my teaching.
