Annette works with the occupational therapy programme, teaching and coordinating mostly second year students. Her previous involvement at CSU involved casual teaching and marking.
Annette's clinical experience has been varied, and includes service provision across the lifespan (from young children to the aged) in multiple settings (hospital to home). Predominantly, Annette has worked in rural areas and has an interest in working with people within their natural contexts e.g. home, school, etc.
Annette completed her Master of Occupational Therapy degree at James Cook University , in 2005. Ongoing interests which emerged from topics investigated include the experience of occupational therapy service provision by those living in rural / isolated areas, and also the value of a range of educational methodologies to student learning, particularly in the allied health fields.
