John joined Charles Sturt University in 2011.
John graduated from Cumberland College of Health Sciences in 1986, and is a titled musculoskeletal physiotherapist.
Following five years employment at Concord Hospital, and private practices in Sydney, John commenced his private practice in Bathurst, NSW where he continues his clinical practice. He has been involved in clinical education of physiotherapy students for over twenty years.
John has a wealth of experience in the treatment of musculo-skeletal and sporting injuries. He has travelled extensively with sporting teams, and provided physiotherapy services to elite athletes and professional rugby teams.
John consults to industry on work injury issues and is an Independent Physiotherapy Consultant to WorkCover NSW.
John lectures in musculoskeletal physiotherapy.

Research
John is interested in motor control of the lumbo-pelvic area in athletic populations, specifically low back pain in cycling. John is keen to develop innovative assessment methods to accurately determine the extent to which spinal muscle control contributes to low back pain and/ or cycling performance.
