- Victorian Healthcare Association scholarship programs 2007 – The Victorian Healthcare Association is currently seeking applications for the 2007 round of funding for the following scholarships and subsidy programs.
- Rural Allied Health Postgraduate Scholarship
- Rural Allied Health Undergraduate Scholarship
- Rural Bachelor of Dental Science Undergraduate Scholarship
- Bachelor of Oral Health/Science Undergraduate Scholarship
- CPD for Rural Allied Health Practitioners Subsidy Program
These programs are funded by the Department of Human Services and are aimed at addressing specific workforce issues within Allied Health and Dental Services. Guidelines, closing dates and application forms can be found on the VHA website.

- Rhodes Scholarship 2007– Applications close 1 September 2006. Candidates intending to apply should consult the Rhodes website and commence work on their applications as soon as possible.
- The Rural Allied Health Undergraduate Scholarship (RAHUS) Scheme is an Australian Government initiative to support rural origin individuals to undertake allied health and oral health degrees so they may pursue a clinical career in rural and remote Australia. The RAHUS Scheme is open to individuals with a rural background studying an allied health degree. The scholarship provides $10,000 a year to assist students with accommodation, living and travel expenses during their studies. Eligible students will have lived in a rural or remote region of Australia for at least five consecutive or eight cumulative years and must be Australian citizens or permanent Australian residents. Applicants must be entering or currently enrolled as a full–time student in an accredited or approved undergraduate or graduate entry level Australian allied health or oral health degree.
