Teaching and Learning
Objectives of the Teaching and Learning Committee:
- Develop adaptable, challenging, and supportive learning environments for students;
- Align the school's courses with the professional development needs of the students;
- Encourage multidisciplinary collaboration within the school;
- Ensure that courses within the school reflect the university's commitment to graduate attributes;
- Monitor the school's courses, and modify them if necessary, so they meet the changing needs of the health professions;
- Infuse teaching and learning philosophies and teaching methods with current research about teaching;
- Encourage professional development of staff with regard to teaching;
- Ensure appropriate and focused support services for both staff and students with regard to teaching and learning activities.
