Welcome to the website of the School of Dentistry and Health Sciences at Charles Sturt University. This School is a newly created entity within the Faculty of Science. It currently offers well established undegraduate courses Medical Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, Nutrition and Dietetics and Medical Radiation Science Honours. These courses are complemented by post graduate offerings in Medical Radiation Science and Clinical Ultrasound at postgraduate diploma, masters and doctorial levels.
2008 is an exciting year for us at the school as we consolidate our nationally recognised strengths in teaching and research whilst also developing new course offerings in the areas of Dentistry and Oral Health Therapy.
These new course offerings- a Bachelor of Dental Science in Dentistry and a Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Therapy/Dental Hygiene will be offered for the 2009 academic year.
Our staff are focussed on innovative and high quality education. We are constantly on the lookout for ways to improve our students’ learning experience within our programs..
Through patient care, research, and community service, our students and staff also play a major role in helping to improve the oral and systemic health of people in regional New South Wales, across the nation and the world.
