Conditions of Use of Facilities

  • CSU students have access to the arenas when they are available (not hired) and at the discretion of the Equine Centre Manager, at no charge. Other conditions of use apply.
  • Any hire application must be accompanied by a Certificate of Currency for public liability insurance for $20,000,000.00 any one occurrence, with the exception of individual rider arena hire.
  • Individual rider arena hire applications must be accompanied by either Equiestrian Australia Membership (which includes personal accident insurance) or a Certificate of Currency for public liability.
  • Where arena hire is for multiple days, the client will have exclusive use for the duration of the hire (not exceeding 10pm on the final day).  One arena surface preparation is included in the hire fee, additional surface preparations by arrangement, price on application.
  • No coaching or instruction may be offered at CSU Equine Centre without prior arrangement with the Equine Centre Office.
  • For any maintenance or cleaning that is required as a result of the hirer leaving facilities in a condition that is less than consistent with the standard at which they were hired, the hirer will incur a fee of $50.00 per hour for cleaning.
  • Breakages or damage to facilities including jump rails and the cross country course must be reported to Equine Centre Management.  The cost for repairing or replacing any items or equipment that are damaged or misplaced will be incurred by the user.
  • Cancellation Policy:
    • Stable cancellations with notice less than 2 working days will incur 100% cancellation fee.
    • Arena hire cancellations with notice of more than 7 days will attract a 50% fee for the first day's hire.  All arena hire cancellations with notice of 7 days or less will incur 100% cancellation fee for the first day's hire and 50% for remaining days cancelled.

  • Do not bring your dog with you - no dogs are permitted at the Equine Centre.
