Inaugural CSU Supreme Performance Horse Sale

Conducted at CSU Equine Centre, 24 November 2012

The inaugural CSU Wagga Wagga Supreme Performance Horse Sale was held at the CSU Wagga Wagga Indoor Arena on Saturday, 24th November 2012, conducted by Landmark.

The concept of the CSU Wagga Wagga Supreme Performance Horse Sale was developed by the committee to have a quality performance horse sale comprising registered Australian Stock Horses and Quarter Horses at CSU’s Equine Centre providing an ideal site with premier facilities in Southern NSW.  A sale of this magnitude and quality of horses has not previously been conducted in this area.

The CSU Wagga Wagga Supreme Performance Horse Sale provides an opportunity for local trainers and breeders to market their horses in Southern NSW and also provides an outlet for the CSU Equine Centre to market horses bred, handled, educated and presented by CSU Equine Science students through their course as well as providing hands-on work placement for students at a recognised performance sale.

The covered arena at CSU creates a friendly and relaxed atmosphere for those attending the sale.

Catering for food and drinks are available. All proceeds to the Cystic Fibrosis clinic at Westmead Children’s Hospital.

60 well bred horses featured with bloodlines representing the top sires in Australia.

The 60 horses catalogued gave purchasers the opportunity to select a horse to suit campdrafting, cutting, pony club, polocrosse, team penning, trail riding, equestrian performance or a good work horse.
