Important Message for Students Intending to Study Health Courses in 2009
Please note that many health courses of study include a clinical practicum in the first semester and students are advised to complete their Senior First Aid Certificate as well as being fully immunised prior to commencement of their first year of study. In addition, the Hepatitis B immunisation should be commenced early, in order for full immunisation status to be attained prior to clinical placements. This requirement applies to the following courses:
- Bachelor of Nursing (Bathurst & Wagga Wagga) *
- Bachelor of Nursing/ Bachelor of Clinical Practice (Paramedic) *
- Bachelor of Early Childhood Teaching (Birth to 5 Years)/ Bachelor of Nursing *
- Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science (Medical Imaging) **
- Bachelor of Health Science (Nutrition & Dietetics)**
* Students enrolled in these courses are required to have a current Senior First Aid Certificate.
** Students enrolling in these courses are required to have a current First Aid Certificate in atleast Basic Life Support level.
