- Founding member of the New South Wales Nursing Laboratory Coordinators Group.
- Member of the organising committee for the Techtrain Conference in 2001, with the overall coordination of the nursing section of this National Conference for Technical Officers. This conference was held at The University of Western Sydney- Parramatta Campus
- E-learning grant committee member – 2004 – currently working on clinical assessment items for 1st year students and students from other universities. This project completed in 2006, and is currently ready for the spring semester of 2006.
- Member of the Family Research node at the School of Nursing, Family and Community Health. This node is coordinated by Assoc. Professor Debra Jackson.
- Nurse Ambassador with Sydney West Area Health Service
- Occupational Health and Safety Committee at the University of Western Sydney
- Member of CDISC committee within the School of Nursing, Family and Community Health – this committee is reviewing and planning the undergraduate curriculum.
