General Introduction
I have taught across many areas of the BN course and at present enjoy the areas of nursing the older person, law and ethics relating to nursing practice and the first year introductory nursing subjects. I have been teaching at CSU for the past 12 years, initially casual as a clinical facilitator and in a fulltime lecturer capacity. I have undertaken study through the both the hospital and tertiary systems as well as via distance education. While I have worked in a variety of settings my area of interest is nursing the older person. I have research interests in the area of learning needs of rural undergraduate nursing students and the improvement of care of the older person in the acute care setting.
