General Introduction
I am currently a Senior Lecturer in the School of Nursing and Midwifery. Prior to that I was an Associate Head for a couple of years, and recently returned to teaching full time to concentrate on research and teaching. I coordinate the mental health subjects and also teach the subjects related to chronic and complex care, primary health care with a particular interest in the area of intellectual disabilities and family health. I am on the final part of my journey down the road to gaining a PhD looking at the area of health mentoring with families of children with disabilities involving undergraduate nursing students.
