General Introduction
After completing her Bachelor of Nursing degree with CSU in Bathurst, Louise worked as an RN at the Canberra Hospital in the ACT for 12 months then moved to Orange to take up the role of RN in the operating theatres at Dudley Private Hospital and then as RN of the Critical Care Unit, Clinical Nurse Specialist and then Clinical Nurse Educator at the Orange Base Hospital. It was during her work at the Base in Orange that Louise commenced as a casual lecturer and tutor with CSU in Bathurst. In June 2008, Louise was offered and accepted the postiion of fulltime lecturer in Nursing for the School of Nursing and Midwifery at the Bathurst Campus of CSU.
