Bachelor of Nursing (BN) Philosophy

The School of Nursing, Midwifery and Indigenous Health is committed to freedom of inquiry, discovery and dissemination of knowledge, community engagement and partnerships and personal/professional wellbeing. This course philosphy underpins the Bachelor of Nursing.

Canadian Students

The School of Nursing, Midwifery and Indigenous Health offers a conversion course to Canadian Registered Nurses.

Applying for Nurse Registration when you qualify

From 2010 all nurses now register with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia. All enquiries regarding nurse registration should be made to the Board.

Nursing codes and guidelines for Registered Nurses and Registered Midwives

The Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia approves codes and guidelines to provide guidance to the professions. These include competency standards, code of ethics, practice guidelines and decision making frameworks.
