Forensic Biotechnology program

The Bachelor of Science (Forensic Biotechnology) at Charles Sturt University (CSU) enables you to
upgrade your skills and job prospects.
If you have completed or are studying an Ontario College Diploma in Biotechnology Technician or Biotechnology Technician (Health),
CSU can offer you:
- Credit packages: You can receive credit for the subjects already completed in your Diploma and upgrade your qualification to a university honours degree in just two years
- Workplace learning: You will undertake a six-week professional placement during your degree, ensuring you are job ready when you graduate
- International experiences: Professional placements can be undertaken in cutting-edge laboratories in Canada or overseas. You can even choose to study part or all of the degree at a CSU campus in Australia
- Flexible learning options: You can study full-time or part-time, or study by distance education, so you can fit the program around your existing work and lifestyle commitments
- Diverse career opportunities: Forensic biotechnology is a growing industry and this program provides a pathway to a huge range of careers, including genetic screening, medicine, patent law, pathology or research
- OSAP funding: The program is approved by the Canadian government, so eligible students can apply for OSAP funding.
