Forensic Biotechnology program

Who should apply?

Anyone completing a relevant College Diploma, such as Biotechnology Technician, can enter this program and gain credit.

Some applicants will need to complete a two-course bridging program prior to entering our degree.

We don't need to know all of your schooling history. You just need your completed or in-progress college transcript to apply.

Information on how to apply

Graduates of College Diplomas in Biotechnology Technician (Health), Biotechnology Technician or equivalent need to apply , through the Online Application process.

Please note: Some students will be required to complete the six-month bridging program, ie. those students with Biotechnology Technician or equivalent qualifications, prior to starting the full program will automatically be enrolled into two courses when they apply to the full program. The cost for these two courses is CAD $1,500 per course.

The bridging program consists of two single courses: FSC200 Introduction to Forensic Science and BMS130 Physiological Sciences 2. Upon successfully completing the bridging program, applicants will receive automatic entry into the full program.

Both subjects are provided by CSU through distance education. The course in Forensics does not require on campus lab sessions. The Physiological Sciences subject requires some days attending on campus lab sessions in the Burlington area. More detail is provided on enrolment.
