Admission Criteria

Master Degree: Admission to the Master of Captive Vertebrate Management is dependent upon prior completion of the Graduate Diploma Captive Vertebrate Management with a grade average of credit or higher. Applicants without a credit grade average in the Grad Dip will undergo either a face-to-face or telephone interview before an offer is made.
Note. Although the Graduate Diploma and Master degree are not available in 2009, we would like you to communicate your interest in these courses.

STA201- Scientific Statistics

Point Value: 8

This subject provides a foundation in the basic practice of statistics, i.e. explaining variability. The orientation is towards the sciences covering both experimental and observational data. The emphasis is on understanding statistical concepts and applying acquired skills to data interpretation by the use of modern software packages. The modern approach to the teaching of statistics is used including group work, use of local data and small projects.
