Tex-Lea Cleveland Bays and The Charles Sturt University Equine Centre are proud to stand 'Impeccable Marksman' at stud.
Born in July 2003, Marksman stood first in Queensland and now stands at the CSU Equine Centre, Wagga Wagga. He is 16.1 hh and, like all horses of his breed, he is bay in colour. Marksman has a gentle and reliable temperament – so quiet in fact that he is used to teach our Equine Science and Veterinary Science Students about stallion management, semen collection and breeding mares.
The Cleveland Bay is a warmblood horse, and stallions of the breed are frequently crossed with mares of smaller type and athletic ability to produce horses ideal for dressage, showjumping, eventing or driving. In Australia , horses with 25% or more Cleveland Bay blood are known as Cleveland Bay Sport-Horses.
For enquiries about breeding your mare to Marksman, please call John Smart at the CSU Equine Centre or Jenni Larsen of Tex-Lex on 0418 729 903.
