Eric's career includes Dairy practice and small animal practice in Melbourne, until 2005, when he commenced a series of appointments at Australian Veterinary Schools as Practitioner in Residence.
His passion to prepare graduates for their professional careers led to designing and coordinating the Veterinary Practice stream "Transition to Practice" subject which is undertaken in the fifth year of the course.
He has published a number of books for pet owners (including Everydog, 4th ed 2009and Everycat, 4th ed due 2010).
Eric joined CSU in 2008.
