John is a registered specialist in Veterinary Pathobiology. He worked as a District Veterinarian for 5 years and as a Diagnostic Pathologist in NSW Agriculture’s Regional Veterinary Laboratories at Wollongbar, Wagga Wagga, where he was Officer-in-Charge from 1982 to 1992, and the Elizabeth Macarthur Agricultural Institute. From 2001 to 2004 John was the Coordinator of Animal Health Training for NSW Agriculture. He has been the President of the Australian Society for Veterinary Pathology and was an Examiner in Veterinary Pathobiology for the Australian College of Veterinary Scientists for 5 years. John joined the staff of Veterinary Science at CSU in 2004 and teaches histology in Year 2 and pathology, biosecurity and emergency disease management in Years 3 to 5 of the veterinary curriculum.
