Kapil Chousalkar

BVSc, MVsc (Microbiology), PhD

Kapil joined the staff at CSU in August 2009. Kapil spent two years as a post-doctoral researcher at the University of New England after completing his PhD in Infectious bronchitis virus disease in 2007. Kapil gained his Masters degree in Veterinary Microbiology from India in 2004.  Kapil has a strong research interest in microbiology, molecular diagnostics, egg quality and production. His major research projects have included real time PCR for infectious bronchitis virus, Microbiology of table eggs, Egg shell translucency and product safety in the Australian egg industry. Kapil coordinates Intensive Animal Production.
