Marie joined CSU in September 2008. She has a PhD from the University of Sydney. Her Ph.D focused on “Improving bone health and optimising Calcium metabolism in the dairy cow to minimize the risk of milk fever”. Her research interests include calcium homeostasis and role of vitamin D in bone health, mineral interactions and peri-parturient disorders in dairy cattle. She teaches Veterinary Anatomy and Physiology. Marie is the subject coordinator for Veterinary Physiology.
