I completed my honours project in 2004 on the Australian Water Rat (Hydromys chrysogaster) in relation to it's suitability as a Ross River virus host. I undertake seasonal mosquito monitoring in South Australia and am involved in a Mosquito/ Plant research lab that has very diverse research areas. My primary research interests lay in the interactions between disturbance and ecosystem composition and function. this can include natural disturbance (fire) and artifically induced disturbance such as salt and artifical flooding.

Thesis topic

An investigation into terrestrial invertebrate community characteristics in saline affected areas.
