Previously I worked for the Department of Environment and Conservation as a project officer in vertebrate ecology research with a two-year secondment to Charles Sturt University to lecture in protected area management. I have worked on a broad range of biodiversity conservation issues affecting our native fauna, particularly forest mammals. My current PhD research will investigate the interactions between climate change, grazing mammals and alpine ecosystems. Specifically, I will be studying population demography, space use and resource selection of wombats in the Australian Alps.
