My undergraduate studies were completed at the Australian National University in Canberra, with majors in Botany and Vegetation Ecology. Past research projects include an investigation of the effects of fragmentation on genetic diversity and seed viability of the threatened Eucalyptus benthamii (while employed at CSIRO Forestry), and my honours project (ANU) investigating the effects of plant community diversity on resistance to weed invasion.
I worked at CSIRO Sustainable Ecosystems for one year as part of a team within a 'Healthy Country Flagship' project, prior to starting my PhD at Charles Sturt University. My current research interests include regeneration processes in woodland ecosystems, and landuse impacts on pastures and grassy understoreys.
The effects of pasture state on the natural regeneration of woodland eucalypts.
