Student Member of ILWS

Covenanting Project Manager at the Nature Conservation Trust of NSW.
My undergraduate studies were completed at the Australian National University in Canberra, with majors in Botany and Vegetation Ecology. Past research projects include an investigation of the effects of fragmentation on genetic diversity and seed viability of the threatened Eucalyptus benthamii (at CSIRO Forestry), and an investigation into the effects of plant community diversity on resistance to weed invasion (ANU Honours research project).

I worked at CSIRO Sustainable Ecosystems for one year as part of a team within a 'Healthy Country Flagship' project, prior to starting my PhD at Charles Sturt University. My current research interests include the impacts of land use on tree regeneration and understorey restoration in woodland ecosystems.

Thesis topic

The effects of pasture state on the natural regeneration of woodland eucalypts.
