This research will explore changes in the social values underpinning agricultural land use and the impacts of these trends on economic wood supply zones for plantations in south eastern Australia. The findings will be interpreted to predict the impact of any trends identified for the achievement of key government policies and programs, including the national strategy for the expansion of planted forests (the 'Plantations 2020 Vision').
