Robyn is using a combination of fieldwork and old forestry records to study how the structure of near-natural remnant vegetation has changed during the period of European management in the White–Cypress Pine/Ironbark communities of the Pilliga State Forests near Coonabarabran. This project combines her passion for ecology with a background in Forest Science and a love of history. Robyn graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2002. After working as a research assistant with the Victorian Department of Sustainability and Environment for a short period, she began her PhD at Charles Sturt University in 2004.
