Our Prospective Student Advisors (PSAs) are committed to supporting Career Advisors in advising your students. We are here to help you to find the information you need, when you need it.
The student recruitment team offer a range of services for Career Advisors and students, in addition to attending or facilitating career events aimed toward your students, both on and off campus. Use the information and links below to learn more about how we can help you and your students.
The PSAs attend major career expos and events in both metropolitan and regional areas.
We can also:
Our PSAs visit hundreds of schools across Australia every year. We can provide valuable information and advice to your students on all aspects relating to going to university, and study options at CSU.
At Charles Sturt University, prospective students don't have to fit their plans around just one Open Day. Our open day every day program means that students can tour a CSU campus at a time convenient to them!
Encourage your students to book a visit for any day Monday to Friday between 9am-5pm for a guided tour with an experienced Student Ambassador. Please advise your students that a minimum of three working days notice is required.
Alternatively, if you would like to book a school group tour, please contact the PSA for the relevant campus (for group tours, please be advised that one month notice is required).
CSU produce a variety of publications designed to assist prospective students in making an informed decision when considering study at CSU. Wherever possible, we are happy to help Career Advisors by sending copies of any relevant publications at your request.
Each year, a number of events are held on campus to provide prospective students with a taste of 'living and learning' at CSU and the opportunity to find out about the courses available.
MyDay events are targeted towards years 10-12 students who have a particular interest in the relevant area, and allow us to showcase our facilities and courses to students in a practical and enjoyable way.
CSU also hosts events organised in conjunction with external entities. These events are restricted, and eligible schools will be contacted with further information.
Each year, our PSAs travel extensively throughout regional and metropolitan Australia to promote on campus undergraduate, distance education and postgraduate courses.
For nearly six months of the year, the PSAs are working off campus attending recruitment activities and visiting schools to provide thousands of prospective students with information about tertiary study and CSU.
