Agriculture pathway program

wangaratta pathway programsThis program provides a pathway from a range of diplomas into CSU’s Bachelor of Agriculture. The aim of the program is to provide graduates with Practical, relevant and up-to-date technical knowledge and skills desired by the agricultural industry.

Delivery of this degree is via supported distance education, which means you will undertake subjects online, along with some on campus study support at GOTAFE’s Rural Industries Campus in Wangaratta.

Course details

Diplomas included in this pathway program:

  • GOTAFE Diploma of Agriculture
  • National Centre for Diary Education Australia (NCDEA) Diploma of Agriculture

Once students complete one of the qualifications listed above, they then enrol in CSU’s Bachelor of Agriculture. Features of this program include;

  • guaranteed entry into the Bachelor of Agriculture
  • 6 months credit towards the degree
  • the ability to complete the degree part-time in 5.5 years. In the first year of study, students are only required to complete one subject per session.

Course costs

CSU degrees are supported by the Commonwealth government. This means you can defer your university fees by using a HECSHELP loan. This is then repaid through the taxation system once your income reaches a certain threshold. Or, there is a discount for students who pay their fees upfront.
